We Care has served the Nicoma Park community and surrounding areas as a food pantry, clothes closet, and source of household goods for families and individuals facing hard times. We Care is an official food pantry partner with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, which means the food we distribute meets the same standards as any established food bank in the metro. Alongside groceries, our clothes closet offers clothing for adults and children, and we regularly have household items available for anyone who needs them. We Care is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park (First Park), and it exists so that no one in our community has to face food insecurity alone.
We Care is open every Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We’re located in a metal building at 2020 Nicoma Ln, just south of Jeffords in Nicoma Park. New clients are always welcome — you do not need to bring any paperwork or documentation. When you arrive, one of our volunteers will sit down with you for a short interview so we can understand your specific situation and make sure we’re able to help in the way you need most. While We Care is based in Nicoma Park, we welcome anyone from the surrounding eastern Oklahoma County area, including Midwest City, Choctaw, and Del City. If you or someone you know is in need of food, clothing, or household goods, we encourage you to stop by on a Friday — no appointment necessary.
