About Us

About the Position

FBC Nicoma Park (or First Park as we call it) is a vibrant church in the eastern OKC area. First Park has a strong culture of worship formed out of a music ministry with a long and storied history. That history has influenced our church mission and values.

Our Mission:
First Park exists to be a passionate people, praising God and proclaiming the truth.

Our Values:
Word Based Discipleship: The Bible itself is the primary text for the content of all our discipleship (Preaching, small groups, counseling, and one on one relationships).

Faithful Service: We want to build a culture of faithfulness by equipping each member to use their spiritual giftings and talents to serve the church and our community.

Worship Lifestyles: We do not value music in and of itself. Our true form of worship is a submissive and devoted life, and music is an outpouring of that devotion.

Community Care: We believe God has called us to use a culture of care to bring the gospel to eastern Oklahoma County through regular and specific outreach to lost people.

About Our Music Program:

First Park has a choir and orchestra on Sunday mornings. Our choir has 33 members and our orchestra has 14 members. We also have a youth choir that regularly joins our adult choir on Sunday mornings.
