In God's Word we see the emphasis to gather to worship with others and to sing praises to His name. First Park offers many opportunities for our people to follow Him in this way. The First Park Music & Worship Ministry spans across most age groups of our church, with opportunities for everyone from age three through Senior Adults. It also helps to fulfill all phases of our church's mission - Worship, Grow, & Serve. This is accomplished with everything from church-wide corporate worship to age-graded or special interest groups and activities.
Look to see where God would have you fit in!
Preschool & Children's Choirs
Instruction and activity in basic music skills, learning about and experiencing worship, discovering how to use our voices and instrumental skills to worship the Lord and to tell others of Him around the world, are all part of the graded choir ministry of First Park! We offer three choirs which are good opportunities in the music and spiritual development of our children, but all also offer a great opportunity of service for our adults. Come, be a part of what's going on! Choirs meet Sundays at 6pm.

InOvation (Student Choir)
The youth choir of First Park is called InOvation. This simply reminds us, that all we sing, the way we serve, and the way we live, should be in ovation to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for who He is and what He has done. This is a no-audition choir with students grades 7-12. It is a special opportunity for singing and using instrumental skills, but also is a time to grow in the Lord through memorization of scripture and Bible-based texts. They also are given the opportunity of participating in a 7-10 day mission experience in the summer (YCMT). All students are encouraged to participate for an extra opportunity to grow in their faith! Choir meets on Sundays from 6:00-7:30 P.M.
PraiSingers (Adult Choir)
PraiSingers is the primary worship choir of First Park. It provides any age adult a way to use their voice and commitment to lead others in worship through congregational singing, choral singing, and presentation of special music and worship events. A real bonus of being in PraiSingers is the fellowship and sense of family that is experienced in working, serving, and worshiping together. You don't have to consider yourself a soloist to be in the choir - we have a place for you! Choir rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:10-8:30 P.M.
Orchestra
What is Orchestra? The First Park Orchestra is an auditioned group of instrumentalists that brings a unique excitement to our worship on Sunday mornings and special musical presentations. In our worship, they play orchestra-alone compositions, support our congregational singing, and accompany our choirs. This adult group is a special element in our worship at First Park.
How can I serve? The first step to be a part of the orchestra is to set up an audition time and then attend several rehearsals with the orchestra. Contact Don in the church office if you have an interest to faithfully serve in this way!
Rehearsal: Sundays at 5pm

Cornerstone (Senior Adult Choir)
Cornerstone is the Senior Adult Choir of First Park. Any adult is welcome to be a part of this fun-loving group! We have a great time of singing and of serving in area retirement centers, senior centers, nursing homes, and other special places. Along with our singing and serving, there's a lot of fellowship and some great meals. No audition is required to be a part of this choir, just come and we will sing and serve together!
Choir meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 A.M.
